“There was something very fishy about Riley Bay.”
Serra Elinsen, Awoken

Serra Elinsen
“Riley Bay wasn’t human.

But if he wasn’t human, then what was he? An alien, sent to Earth to learn about humanity in preparation for an invasion? Riley was certainly weird enough to be an alien, but I didn’t see why the mother ship would send him to Portsmouth, Rhode Island, in the guise of a high schooler.”

H.P. Lovecraft
“At night, when the objective world has slunk back into its cavern and left dreamers to their own, there come inspirations and capabilities impossible at any less magical and quiet hour. No one knows whether or not he is a writer unless he has tried writing at night.”

H.P. Lovecraft
“I never ask a man what his business is, for it never interests me. What I ask him about are his thoughts and dreams.”
