Originally way back from County Donegal, Ireland, the great grandson of an Irish patriot, Justin is an elder millennial father of an amazing kid known as Corrigan. After many travels from the Bellingham bay to the barns of North Dakota and back to the beaches of Oceanside, California, academia to addiction, days are now spent trying to be better than yesterday to help somebody else.

It's a big move your son is taking, one I still remember vividly. Some of the inspiration for sharing "ijwd" stems from my stint in rehab when I was young, because I couldn't relate to what I was going through with outside things I read or heard. If your son takes away anything at all hopeful from the book it would be a tremendous honor to have been a part of his journey.

But to answer your question, yes. Yes, it may be purchased as a paperback, however it is through Amazon's publishing center so if you search "i just woke up dead" on Amazon there ought to be 2 links for the book, one for the eBook and another for a paperback. Just click on the paperback link and go from there. Shipping takes about a week, so hopefully that won't be too long.

As far as writing is concerned, I'm a terrible hoarder. Anything and everything I've ever written is somewhere in a suitcase or shelf or file folder. Love freehand writing, using the old pen and paper. Suppose I'm old-school like that. For other writing projects, talking with others, asking many questions about their interests and ideas can be a great asset to creativity. (less)

It can be crazy tough to walk away from an invitation to go out and party like I used to, especially when all of the components of wild are available. Just staying away from the drink is easy enough, at least 5 years into recovery, but add in the women, drugs, money, and slice of lifestyle left behind and well…
