The Final Episode of the Better Health Bookshelf & What’s Coming Next
Hi, it’s Mike Capuzzi and today’s episode marks an important turning point for me, for this show, and for where we’re headed next.
Before I share today’s big news, I want to start by saying thank you — to every listener of the Better Health Bookshelf.
This show has been an amazing ride.
I’ve had the privilege of interviewing some of the smartest authors in the health and wellness space, and I’ve learned a ton from them — and I hope you have too.
But something happened along the way…
The more I talked to these experts…
The more I applied what they shared…
The more I experimented, refined, and upgraded my own habits…
I realized something important:
I’m not done growing.
Not even close.
I want to be stronger at 60 than I was at 40.
I want to stay sharp, present, and capable for the people I love.
I want to live big, play big, and contribute big... for as long as I possibly can.
And I want to talk to experts and thought leaders who can help me achieve my own personal goals.
That’s when it hit me:
I realized I am my own ideal listener and that I needed to build the podcast I personally wanted to hear every week.
Over time, it became clear that Better Health Bookshelf had opened a door, but the next chapter needed to go deeper, get more focused, and speak directly to the season of life I’m in.
So today, I’m excited to share that the Better Health Bookshelf is evolving into something new, something more focused and more aligned with where I am in my own journey.
Introducing Unstoppable After 50.
This is a podcast for men 50+ who don’t want to fade away…
For men who want energy, strength, clarity, purpose, and adventure in the second half of life…
And for men who want to keep learning and leveling up—just like I do.
My goal is to help you stay strong, sharp, energized, and deeply fulfilled in the years ahead and this new show will give you the tools to do exactly that.
And I want you to know you’re not the only man over 50 who’s hungry for more out of life.
There’s a whole brotherhood of us, and this show is where we grow together.
And to make real progress, I needed a roadmap. Something that kept me focused on the areas that matter most.
Along my own “better health” journey, I developed a framework that has guided me toward a bigger, stronger, more meaningful life.
I call them The Unstoppable Seven Strengths.
These seven areas form the foundation of a powerful life after 50.
They influence your health, your confidence, your relationships, your income, and ultimately your legacy.
Too often, men are told that aging means decline.
But the truth is the opposite: when you intentionally build strength in these key areas, the second half of life can become your strongest and most fulfilling chapter.
The Unstoppable Seven Strengths are:
Physical Strength – because capability is confidence.Inner Strength – your mindset and resilience.Family Strength – leading and loving at the highest level.Business Strength – staying relevant and impactful in your work.Wealth Strength – financial freedom as a tool, not a scorecard.Passion Strength – bringing joy, adventure, and curiosity back into life.Purpose Strength – building a legacy that actually matters. These aren’t just show topics. They’re the growth areas I’m actively working on myself.
Every week, listeners and viewers, yes, I’m launching a YouTube channel, will learn from men and women who are top-tier physicians, coaches, authors, performance experts, and everyday men doing extraordinary things after 50.
The heart of what I do isn’t changing.
I’m still going to bring you smart people, practical ideas, and actionable steps you can use immediately.
The difference now is that everything will be intentionally focused on what matters most to men over 50.
I’m building a show that keeps me accountable, curious, and committed to living fully and I’m inviting you to come along with me.
And to my female listeners: thank you. Your support has meant so much and you’re absolutely welcome to stay with us.
I know many of these ideas will serve you too. And I’d be honored if you’d share the show with the men in your life who want to stay strong and healthy as they age.
For now, there’s nothing you need to do.
Better Health Bookshelf will automatically transition to Unstoppable After 50, and you can continue listening as you normally do.
I’m taking the rest of December off to prepare for our January 7 debut, including launching the Unstoppable After 50 YouTube channel.
If you’re a man over 50, this new show is built for you.
Let’s get stronger, sharper, and more unstoppable... together.
