As a child, Ambika Devi filled the margins of her notebooks with original stories, drawings, and poetry. With deep devotion, she has dedicated her novel Lilith to the potent power of the Divine Feminine. Her backpack is stuffed with colored pens, a journal, a Kindle, and a deck of Tarot cards, and her heart is overflowing with the richness of mystical wisdom and ancient ways.

Ambika's 6th and newest book is, Cupid is a Bastard." I know you are wondering why the heck I named a book: Cupid is a Bastard.

From the back of the book: I could quote mythology and tell you he is the illegitimate child of Venus. I could confess to being a bitter nutter who carries on conversations with apparitions. The result of too many ghostings? No one deserves bei

The current idea I am working on is how to convince people to meditate. This is the only way I have found to experience what we really are made of which is pure energy. It is the only way I have found to loosen and remove the grip of society and exterior chatter.

On another note, a mystery that has always amused me is when I awaken from sleeping—having been deep in a dream—and I hear my own voice singing. This morning it was Moon River by Johnny Mercer. This song and inspiration from his work, and Savannah, Georgia where he lived, already have crept into poems and writing. I am sure they are going to find their way into my next novel.

She is an amazing wordsmith and has be completely captivated as I only just recently started to read her books. The pair has be so drawn into their world that I feel I am part of them. Jamie has all the qualities of a vulnerable yet incredibly strong and cunning leading man and Claire is feisty and clever. I am in love with this pair so much that the next time I visit the UK I intend to go to Scotland!
