I grew up on a farm in Central New York and went to St. Lawrence University where I got my degree in history. I then went to Princeton and have a PhD in linguistics (dialectology), but I discovered I liked acting and directing more. I ran a theatre company for a while, then taught the Humanities at the College of New Jersey. I now teach at New Jersey's online college, Thomas Edison State College, and direct plays from time to time. ...more
