Korean Ghosts That Scared My Kid | Into Korean

There are a lot of ghosts in Korea, and just as many misconceptions about them. I wanted to talk about some of the most common ghosts and share which one’s my favorite. I also brought in a ghost expert (my son) to talk about some more obscure Korean ghosts.

Also by the way, there are only 3 more episodes left in Season 1 of my podcast. What do you think? After staying in Korea for a few months I’ll return with Season 2.

Why Stray Kids’s Korean wordplay is GENIUS (feat. “Charmer”) | Stray Kids Analysis (9/8)

After analyzing all eight members of Stray Kids, I decided to try (for my very first time) making an analysis about some song titles and lyrics. I analyzed the hidden meanings behind several of Stray Kids’ Korean album titles, and took a deep look into their lyrics in the song “Charmer.”

Where Should You Stay in Seoul? | Into Korean

I often get asked where is the best place to stay in Seoul as a tourist. While there are pros and cons to each place, there’s no single best answer. Typically 명동 is recommended for its location, or 홍대 for its nightlife, and more. I talk about each area, as well as ask an expert to share his recommendations, in today’s newest episode of my Korean learning podcast “Into Korean.”

Learn Korean with “Korean Made Simple” Textbooks & Workbooks

I recently made another update to my textbook and workbook series, fixing some annoying typos, as well as updating some details that have changed over the past few years (like how to deal with Korean age!).

I have three textbooks and three (completely optional) workbooks, and they all go in order and together to help bring someone from the very beginning up to a basic conversational level. I made this video to re-announce the books and share what’s inside.

Why Seungmin’s Korean sounds so PERFECT | Stray Kids Analysis (7/8)

It’s time for Seungmin’s turn! I took a look at all eight members of the group Stray Kids, and I’ve been making a separate video for each member. In this episode I talk about Seungmin’s soft voice, his unique voice tone, his dialect (yes!), and even look at his handwriting.

Learn Korean Ep. 133: ~고 가다 & ~고 오다

Keykat is learning how to bow, but seems to be having a hard time. I hope that our friend can help her out.

This lesson is about using the forms ~고 가다 and ~고 오다, which aren’t about “going” or “coming” somewhere but are used for talking about action verbs. There’s also a review about using the verb ~고 with action verbs.

Also make sure to get your free PDF version of this lesson (and every lesson in the “Learn Korean” series) by clicking the download link right below this video~!
