AnonMan short movie

The AnonMan short movie is now on YouTube:
https://youtu.be/j9mRmMEOvfA

First there was the AnonMan script, a finalist in the Trigger Street/Jameson First Shot Contest. That spawned the short movie. An ebook, novel, and audiobook followed.

The next logical step: an AnonMan feature film.

Heattwave Productions will work to make that next step a reality.

Audiobooks

Check out one of my audiobooks this holiday season. I have a few free codes available, plus Audible offers a free trial. Links below.

AnonMan: An unemployed man receives an anonymous letter full of cash in the mail. His
problems are just beginning…
https://www.audible.com/pd/B07DL8X2M2...

Reflections of Darkness: A horror anthology composed of four terrifying tales that culminates in the question, "If you could kill one person, who would it be and how would you do it?"
https://www.audible.com/pd/B09PVLVYL4...

Teaching Snapping Turtles: Trying to reason with a Republican or Democrat is like teaching a snapping turtle how to chew bubblegum. This conclusion birthed the title of my book. Teaching Snapping Turtles is an opinionated nonfiction book about American Society in the 21st Century. The problem with politics is that both parties believe they're right. No matter what. Only the "other person" needs to change. The shell is a happy place.

Highway of Tears novel

13 years ago I wrote the found footage screenplay Highway of Tears. After hundreds of attempts of marketing the script to agents, managers, producers, going to the AFM, trying my hand at independent producing, pitching to investors, everything short of pulling a heist, the movie never got made.

Now, in 2025 I wrote the epistolary novel. Highway of Tears is a story that people can finally read and experience, no gatekeepers or $300k budget required. The book is cheaper than a happy meal, a great deal in this age of inflation.

Being stubborn is courage, born from belief. That is what I think matters, despite entertainment monopolies treating movies like propaganda-delivery-devices. There is still freedom of speech and expression.

Highway of Tears is about two college graduates who take a road trip on the deadliest highway in North America. The novel is based on the terrifying real story of Highway 16 in British Columbia, nicknamed the Highway of Tears.

50 women have been killed or have gone missing the past 40 years on Highway 16 in British Columbia, Canada. Locals insist the body count is higher and speculate that a serial killer is at work. Police are baffled by these crimes and women continue to be abducted on the lonely highway surrounded by remote stretches of wilderness.

Ignorant to the history of the Highway of Tears, two best friends celebrate their college graduation by taking one last road trip before going their separate ways. The girls bring along a video camera to document the trip. Their plans include camping, kayaking, and hiking, but their trip quickly becomes a frantic struggle for survival against a homicidal killer intent on making them the latest victims of the Highway of Tears.

The paperback is on Amazon:

The ebook is on Amazon also:

Writing a horror/thriller is like being a detective surveying a crime scene, you can never have too many details...unless you're Edgar Allan Poe. Then you just have to finally publish the dang thing and be done with it already.

Enjoy the story, if you dare.
