It's not that I don't get stuck at certain plot points, but I always get past them in a day or two.
I did have "writer's block" a couple of times when I was blogging regularly. I used to run out of ideas. It was just a matter of waiting it out and then ideas would start to flow again.(less)

I have also been a blogger, a travel writer, a freelance writer and reporter, and of course for a large part of my professional life, a technical writer. In all of these areas, what you write is dictated by external demands. I don't always like or agree with what I have to write about or how. But when I write my books, I'm answerable only to myself. It's my language, my thoughts, my direction. When do you ever get complete creative freedom like that in a job?(less)

“Ultimately, the thought that our genes are better that somebody else’s is inherently not only fallacious, but also ethically and morally wrong”
