Books gave me a portal to worlds where all things are possible. I started reading the Vampire Diaries by L.J. Smith when I was a tween. My first crush was on Damon Salvatore. I guess that you could say that he's a bad example of a perfect man for young girls but I fell in love with his willingness to do anything to save and be with Elena. I still compare love interests (fictionally) to Damon. Long live Damon and Elena <3(less)
