Add Curses and Crimes to your TBR!
We're less than two weeks out from Vines and Vices' release day, but today I have news on another book... specifically on Curses and Crimes, book two in the All the Queen's Knaves series!
We'll be doing the official cover reveal after Vines and Vices is out in the world, but Curses and Crimes is up for pre-order now--and if you'd like a preview of what this next adventure is going to be about (and you'd like to take a guess as to what fairy tale it's based on), the full description is here.

Hardcovers are coming!
I'm so excited to announce that I'll be offering a hardcover edition of one of my books for the first time ever with Vines and Vices! I just got a peek at the cover and jacket art and it's going to be GORGEOUS. I can't wait to share it with you!

Vines and Vices is coming November 8!
I've just sent advance copies of Vines and Vices to everyone who signed up! I'm so excited to see this book making its way into the world.
It's been a long journey for me from burnout at the end of the Immortal Soulless series through a long period of rest/planning and more than a year working on this book. I'm happy to be back and writing the stories that speak to me instead of the ones I know the market wants.
Is that risky? Yep. No one asked for a Jack and the Beanstalk retelling starring a con artist risking her life to escape an unhealthy family relationship, or a series of sequential semi-stand-alone stories (say that five times fast) featuring fairy tales I think don't get nearly enough retelling attention. But here we are, and I'm still madly in love with this book even after reading it well over a dozen times.
I guess I'll get to work now on an in-between story while I'm waiting for Hawk and Gale (a Hansel and Gretel retelling/aftermath story) to come back from my editor.

Vines and Vices update!
A few updates, actually. I really need to get all of this out to my poor, neglected newsletter subscribers...
Cover art is finalized for All the Queen's Knaves books one and two, and Vines and Vices (book one) is with beta readers! That means a few things:
-We'll have a release date, cover reveal, and pre-orders soon!
-I'm down to the final polish stage. Just a few tweaks if readers find issues, then off to my proofreader, then done.
-I will be offering ARCs! Newsletter subscribers will get the first chance at them, followed by readers in my Facebook group and who follow me on social media. I'll be aiming to have them out a few weeks before release. If you're a quick reader and a reliable, honest reviewer, watch for that announcement!

Long time no post... (but hey, news!)
I'm going to be honest... I tend to forget about Goodreads. I mean, look at this. My last blog post was when Into Elurien went up for pre-order. Not release. Pre-order. Yikes.
Anyway, things have been happening and continue to do so, so here's a quick catch-up for anyone who only follows me here (sorry).
-Into Elurien did, in fact, release. Several years ago. I love this story and wish it could have been longer, but I was already over word-count for the series. People keep asking whether I'll ever go back to that world. My answer is the same as my answer for that question about the Bound trilogy: I'd love to, but my time and energy are limited. There are so many other worlds to create and books to write that I don't know when it'll happen. In the meantime, there *is* another story set in that world called Beast and Beauty that I give away as an exclusive to newsletter subscribers.
- I also wrote a completed 7-book urban fantasy series under the pen name Tanith Frost. It's set in Newfoundland. It's got vampires who are soulless monsters, snarky (and hot) werewolves, vampire hunters, an misplaced dragon shifter, a (demon? angel? Who cares, he's amazing). It's dark and sexy and one of the best things I've ever written. It's called Immortal Soulless and book one (Resurrection) is FREE through the end of March 2021
-And finally, I'm working on a new fairy tale Fantasy series! Books 1-3 are drafted, book 4 is planned, and book 5 is... I have ideas. Book one goes to my editor in May, book 2 in October (sorry, he books WAY in advance) and I'm hoping for a late summer/autumn release for book one.
More details to come...

Into Elurien Now Available for Pre-Order!

We're still waiting on Nook to get the listing up, but Into Elurien is now available for pre-order via Amazon (Kindle), Kobo, and iBooks! I'm so excited about getting this one out to you next month!
Sorry for all the exclamation points. So excited.
It's shorter than the books in the Bound trilogy, with different characters and a slightly older-than-YA slant, but if you enjoyed those books you should love this one, too.

Just a quick update. Thank you to everyone who purchased Sworn on release day, who came out to the release party on Facebook, and who has helped spread the word about the sale pricing on the trilogy! You've all been so amazing.
Sworn is now available for Kindle, Nook, Kobo (though we were having some issues with Kobo Canada earlier today...), iBooks, Scribd, and Tolino. It's just $2.99 for a limited time (USD, ebook only, retailers may adjust prices), so now is a great time to grab it before the price goes up.
