Nicole Feller is a Jesus-loving shutterbug with a nostalgic heart and a fondness for classic charm. You can often find her downtown, drooling over old houses or sipping a mocha latte at the coffee shop with her husband, Daniel.

When Nicole isn’t writing, she enjoys exploring historic cities, antiquing, listening to LANY, reading love stories, quoting all the movies, and fangirling over Casey Deidrick. But her most favorite thing in the world is being Jude’s mom.

Nicole and her little family live in a perpetual summer in west central Florida with their Himalayan, Poe.

In that case, I usually sit down with my notebook and brainstorm some ideas (even if they seem stupid!) or I skip ahead to a scene I know will be happening and write from there. That usually makes it easier to go back and fill in the blanks. Some writers also say never to go back and read what you've already written, but a lot of times, that helps me get back on track and sparks the idea I needed for that next scene. (less)

I love when my characters can evoke feelings in readers and they come to care for these fictional people my mind has somehow fashioned and brought to life. (less)

Feels Like Fire is here!

This past week, Feels Like Fire released! It's been such a long time coming, so it felt good to finally put it out there. I started writing FLF in May of 2017! I absolutely adore this book and its characters, and I hope you love it too.

Feels Like Fire is available on Amazon in paperback and for Kindle and KindleUnlimited!

Ernest Hemingway
“I didn't want to kiss you goodbye — that was the trouble — I wanted to kiss you good night — and there's a lot of difference.”
Ernest Hemingway

Stephen Christian
“honestly i don't understand the rousing of romance all that well. i used to believe in this thing called fate, or destiny. a romantic romeo and juliet, monet and veronica, etc. but now i feel jaded, maybe agnostic to the idea.
but choice used to seem so unromantic, as if some mystic force was not behind the meeting of 2 beautiful individuals. but now i think choice is the greater of the two simply for this fact: by choosing someone you are saying that out of all the people in the entire world i have decided that i want you apart of my life in perpetuum, for the rest of my life, and no one else.
no haphazard circumstance, no chance meetings where distant planets align. it's simply two rational individuals who make a choice and an effort to remain together.”
stephen christian, The Orphaned Anything's: Memoir of a Lesser Known

John Green
“As he read, I fell in love the way you fall asleep: slowly, and then all at once.”
John Green, The Fault in Our Stars

John Green
“What is the point of being alive if you don't at least try to do something remarkable?”
John Green, An Abundance of Katherines

John Green
“That's always seemed so ridiculous to me, that people want to be around someone because they're pretty. It's like picking your breakfeast cereals based on color instead of taste.”
John Green, Paper Towns
