Taking a step back helped me to see it from a different perspective.

Also, since the book is a memoir, I would at times visit some of the places talked about in the book. It helped to evoke both memories and emotions.(less)

Yet once I began my journey with The Boom Boom Retreat, I was able to express my experience with a sense of mastery.

Writing is a creative outlet that I never thought I would enjoy as much as, in the end, I did. I'm working on a more academic book, which will be a whole new challenge.(less)
