The Joan Silber novel. It is six stories in one. I just love that book. I have my original hardback copy I purchased years after it came out. I can see it from here on the shelf. I just love that book. It stayed with me the same way The English Patient does.
I don't typically accept author friendvites if I don't know them (because too many just want to use it as a marketing ploy) but I love your answer to the "Marry me?" question. :) Also, it turns out there are at least 3 books titled "Size of the World" and now I'm wondering which one you meant!ETA: never mind, I found it on your GR bookshelves!
