W Lawrence was born in San Francisco, California, and moved two dozen times before settling in Pennsylvania with his extraordinarily patient wife, two precocious daughters, and two maniac dogs. He worked for nearly twenty years as a professional interrogator in both the U.S. military and the world of corporate security before hanging up his hat.

In 2014, his debut novel Syncing Forward became a time-traveling best seller and -with a second novel on the way- everything appeared to be heading to the top. Tragedy struck in 2017, plunging Lawrence and his family into a drama that is fit for the pages (and soon will be). Ten years later, he's taken to the keyboard again, with multiple novels completed and on the way.

Michelle, my apologies for not writing earlier. Thank you for the kind words and the great review.

I am currently writing another novel, but the next one will be much less somber, more adventurous, and have a good helping of humor and romance in it. If I write two heavy books back-to-back, you'll read about me in the news how they found me swinging from my ceiling fan.

The next novel is unrelated to Syncing Forward and takes place in an old house in North Carolina. It will be a downright twisty tale. I don't want to give away more than that, however.(less)

I highly doubt they are lying, so the reader is conveying frustration, and in an elliptical way, cares enough to communicate that to you. Take it as a blessing, cool off, and then ask yourself if your book could have been better. I think most of us can say 'yes'. Obviously you don't want to write with the goal of making every human being like your book, but I doubt many of us can say we've written the perfect piece of literature. (less)

SYNCING FORWARD COMES TO AUDIBLE – PODIUM 2

The audio book version of Syncing Forward can be found here! It has only been a couple weeks, but the reviews are pouring in and people love it!   A sturdy handshake to Will Damron who narrated the story, taking on the voice of Martin James (and everyone else – not an easy task given the large number of female characters).

Thank you to my partners at Podium Publishing for making this a reality.  Yo

War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy
“Every man lives for himself, using his freedom to attain his personal aims, and feels with his whole being that he can at any moment perform or not perform this or that action; but, so soon as he has done it, that action accomplished at a certain moment in time becomes irrevocable and belongs to history, in which it has not a free but a predestined significance. There are two sides to the life of every man: there is his individual existence which is free in proportion as his interests are abstract; and his elemental life as a unit in the human swarm, in which he must inevitably obey the laws laid down for him.”
