Jason Haskins currently serves as the resident playwright and dramaturg for Alley Repertory Theater in Boise, Idaho. Jason is a playwright, screenwriter, novelist, and sports writer. He was the co-creator of Boise produced plays “Voices from the Boise Hole” and “Levi Middlebrooks: Back 2 Boyzee”. Jason has also written four full-length plays entitled "Solace", "Poison", "The Latitude of Life", and "Half Past Midnight", all of which have had readings with various theatres. His one-act play "One Night Stand" was recently published for Heartland Plays and Jason’s fantasy novels, "The Dragon Princess", "The Blue Gem", and "The Dragon Slayer" are all available to purchase, along with a novella titled "Of Snow Forts and Santa". Usually when I'm stuck on an idea or have a little trouble getting started, I'll grab the tennis ball and walk around the room with it. I'll bounce the ball, toss it up in the air, and basically do whatever it takes to get the ideas flowing. Then I'm usually able to sit down and write.
