Cultivating Gratitude
Do you personally cultivate gratitude in your life? Why not personally give thanks every day, focusing on feeling grateful for what you have accomplished and for the many blessings in your life? This includes feeling grateful for the ability to help others, as well as being grateful for friends and loved ones. After all, the highest level of gratification we can experience is through our interactions and relationships with other human beings. What a delight and blessing it is to have someone in your life, be it a spouse or good friend or even a pet, who compels you to feel joy and gratitude.

Attitude
Attitude is the reflection of a person. Again, your attitude largely determines the results you get in life. Your current results are nothing more than the accumulation of all your past thoughts, feelings, actions, and experiences. Your results are a reflection of you! Individuals who consistently experience success are those who maintain a positive attitude, regardless of the situation or circumstance. Their positive outlook on life says more about them than their qualifications, education, or paycheck. Others notice their upbeat outlook right away and gravitate toward them because of it. Naturally, these people succeed more often than not.

The Law of Attraction
The Law of Attraction is a universal law in operation at all times. It responds to the thoughts you focus on all the time, and then draws that which you dwell upon into concrete reality. Simply put, we attract things, good or bad, depending on our thoughts. Although we think of it as a single law, it is more broadly defined as a group of concepts that includes visualization, the Law of Deliberate Creation and the Art of Allowing.
Visualization
Visualization, or creatively picturing desired outcomes in your mind, is an effective technique for achieving your goals and dreams.
Law of Deliberate Creation
The Law of Deliberate Creation affirms that what we think about and put energy into is what grows in our life. In order to succeed, we must focus on what is wanted, and release all other negative chatter from our minds. Remember, the subconscious is always “listening,” and is ever ready to deliver the goods! Prentice Mulford illuminated this concept in his book Thoughts are Things:
“We need to be careful of what we think and talk because thought runs in currents as real as those of air and water. Of what we think and talk we attract to us a like current of thought. This acts on our body for good or ill.”
What you focus on, you attract, so think about what you want in life and avoid thinking about what you don’t want. You invite something into your life by giving it energy through your thoughts. You will never attract prosperity while constantly thinking, “I never have enough money or I can’t make ends meet.” That just reaffirms a state of lack, perpetuating more poverty. On the other hand, dwelling on abundance by affirming, “I have more than enough, and I pay my bills with ease,” perpetuates prosperity. Attention to what is only creates more of what is. What you repeatedly think about gets reinforced, and then takes form.
If you think you can, you can, and if you think you can’t, you can’t. So, wouldn’t it be wise to make a lifelong habit of positive thinking? When you throw a pebble onto the surface of a pond, it causes a rippling effect. The same thing happens with our thoughts. One thought leads to another and another. If these thoughts are out of tune with our goals and dreams, then like the magnets we are, we attract the unwanted. Cultivating focused, positive thoughts attracts those goals and dreams we really do want to manifest.
Art of Allowing
The Law of Attraction and Deliberate Creation are both important concepts to master in the manifestation process. The last in the sequence is the Art of Allowing. Allowing refers to truly being open to letting in all that you say you want and deserve. The art is that it takes practice and skill to be able to accomplish that.
Some people are apparently doing everything right by utilizing the Law of Attraction to deliberately seek what they want, yet they still see no results. Why is that? It is most likely because they are not truly allowing their desires to manifest. This is often due to holding on to doubt, which fuels old issues of self-worth. True believing is the absence of doubt. People often give up just when something is about to manifest in full form because doubt creeps in, counteracting the Art of Allowing.
In Allowing, you simply replace any doubt with faith, confidence and belief. When you evoke positive, courageous feelings, you create positive, confident vibrations. This means that you are in harmony with your thoughts, or source energy; thus you are allowing positive things to come to you. On the other hand, when you are doubtful and insecure, you are in a state of resistance; therefore, what you want remains at a distance. Anything that inhibits the flow of energy stops the process of Deliberate Creation. Being in a receptive state “allows” the energy flow required for manifestation.
