If someone told a young Sayara St. Clair that one day she would be an erotic/paranormal-romance-writing Aussie expat living in Thailand, she would have snort-laughed and yelled, "You. Be. Crazy!"
If someone told her the same thing now, she would not yell, only nod solemnly. Because that actually happened.

Sayara has a science degree, with majors in both microbiology and biochemistry. Working in the fields of serology and tissue banking, she got to do lots of cool and sometimes slightly weird stuff. She was employed as the manager/buyer for furniture retail stores, where she had a chance to unleash her inner interior decorator. (Interior design is one of her great passions.) From a blank screen with a bli…moreThere are so many things I love about being a writer. One is the incredible feeling of creating something from nothing. From a blank screen with a blinking cursor, to a book where your characters have come to life. I usually fall in love with the hero along the way (can't be helped). But I think most of all, I love that I can work from anywhere. And that means I don't have to fight through traffic. I can march to my own beat. I don't have to get all dolled up for work e.g. shorts, singlet and bare feet are fine. Oh, and underwear is optional. (less)

Hi Sayara! I see you enjoy writing erotic romance and loved your book. Do you have other genres (adventure, thriller, suspense)? I ask because I'm trying to display versatility by writing adventure, humor, thriller & suspense to attract a variety of readers. Stephen King has done this too, and I thought it'd work for me.

In addition to the third book in my erotic romance series, Dante's Purgatory, I'm also working on a series in a different genre—first book to be released early 2018. It's a humorous vampire romance and therefore will be placed in both the paranormal romance and the humor/satire categories.
I also have an outline for a thriller that's just waiting for me to have time to write.
I enjoyed your humorous look into the retail industry in Who's Minding The Store, and I'm looking forward to reading your action/adventure, Big Jim. I'd also love to see what genre you delve into next.
