Jon Did you change your avatar profile picture today? If so, what type of flower is it? :)

Werner Ron, I just learned today about your surgery, and was really glad to hear that it went well. Best wishes as you recover, buddy; my prayers (and those of a lot of other folks) are with you! One good thing about having to rest in the hospital --if you've got a good book, you can read to your heart's content, and nobody's going to be fussing at you because you're not up and working. So, enjoy it while you can. :-)

message 6: by Jon

Jon Wow! Nice new profile painting. That turned out different than I imagined, better actually. Great work.

message 2: by Jon

Jon I really enjoyed lunch with you and dad today. Please followup on your project to write up your dad's memoirs or stories from his tours of duty during WWII and the Korean War.

And someday I need to ask you why you skipped out of New York and came back to Kansas without dad or grandma. :)

Have a safe trip home.

Jon
