In fact, there should be no such thing. A good novel takes time, research takes time, molding characters, developing scenes and plots take time.

If you get stuck trying to develop something such as a particular plot or scene, take a break. Go camping for the weekend, spend the evening with friends ... do something to relax. Stop focusing so hard and allow the simple things of life to inspire you again. Sooner or later, something will "come" to you. When you least expect it, it'll "hit" you, and the entire schene or plot or even the entire book will suddenly fall into place.
