Thomas Whaley was born in 1972 and has lived on Long Island his entire life. He is an elementary school teacher and has always enjoyed writing as a pastime. Thomas currently lives in Shoreham, New York with his husband Carl, their two sons Andrew and Luke, and loyal dog Jake.

The new book is coming along quite nicely, however, not as quickly as I expected. Being a psych-thriller, I find the story line and character involvement shifting (In a GOOD way) as it unfolds. I do not want to rush things - especially with various settings that I am investigating along the way. I am hoping for it to be editor-ready by late summer.

Teaching: Reflections for 2017

I love teaching. I want you to know that. There is nothing better in this world than being a teacher regardless of the bumps, bruises, nicks and scratches that my heart, mind, and body have taken over the years. I am all in on teaching, and I am all in on every parent, guardian and child that come my way.
