Chelsey loves thrift shops and musty old books stores, DIY projects, and has a rather serious Starbucks addiction. A nurse, wife, and mom to two children, she can often be found repurposing other people’s junk or considering whether the library would let her move in. The rest of the time, she’s reviewing for Chicklit Club or writing. All Shook Up is her second novel.

I'd loooooove to know how my husband's great grandma survived escaping Russia in the 1920s. I'd like to know how she and her family survived living in Siberia, where she and her German family were exiled in WW1. I've been so inspired by her, that I'm researching 1920s Russia and the gulag right now!) (less)

The couple that instantly comes to mind is Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler from "Gone With the Wind." I can't get enough of them. They're so delightfully dysfunctional! They are both strong, well fleshed out characters. They are aware of and embrace their flaws. And I love that they don't care about social convention; they're all about pushing societal boundaries on what men and women should or shouldn't do.

Fun fact: Margaret Mitchell first named her heroine "Pansy O'Hara," but changed it to Scarlett just before it was printed. I'm SO glad she changed it! (less)
