What a fun question! The couple that instantly comes to mind is Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler from "Gone With the Wind." I can't get enough of them. They're so delightfully dysfunctional! They are both strong, well fleshed out characters. They are aware of and embrace their flaws. And I love that they don't care about social convention; they're all about pushing societal boundaries on what men and women should or shouldn't do.
Fun fact: Margaret Mitchell first named her heroine "Pansy O'Hara," but changed it to Scarlett just before it was printed. I'm SO glad she changed it!
