D.W. Rigsby was born in 1971 in Portsmouth, Oh. Raised by a single mother of three he learned to make do with that they had. He grew up in New Boston, Oh then moved to FL finishing his high school years. After that, he joined the US Army in 1991-1995 where he worked in telecommunications. He pursued his degree in electronics/information technology while working full time. He completed his degree program in 2000 earning his B.S. Information Systems graduating cum laude.
