Patrick Lewis received his PhD in History from the University of Kentucky and completed his undergraduate degree at Transylvania University. He has worked for the National Park Service, taught at UK, and is now the director of the Civil War Governors of Kentucky Digital Documentary Edition project at the Kentucky Historical Society.
