Hooray, I was wrong on the time it would take to get my miner. They arrived this week. The first one came Thursday and the other the day after. I got the email saying they were on their way on Tuesday. That meant I had to quickly order an PSU to power them. I went with the Corsair CX750M from Amazon, which is running fine. Yes both miners are running as Bitmain advertised. After the trouble with BFL it is good to get something that work as it is supposed to.
I was watching the Great Debate this week concerning the future of Scotland. Though the press are saying that Mr Salmond lost the debate I don't agree. Then again some would say I am biased as I support the idea of Scotland going it alone. Why? Well for one the union hasn't been that great for us north of the border over the past three hundred years. Before the union almost all Scots were opposed to the idea. It only came about through threats from the Westminster Parliament of invasion and through the buying off of those trusted to protect Scotland. It wasn't long before those loyal to a free Scottish nation raised the flag of rebellion. Over the first forty years two major rising took place the last ended at Culloden. What followed was two years of slaughter by Westminster forces to ensure we never rose again. After this we seen the start of the Clearances that would last for the next one hundred and forty years. These of course this is all well before my time. But even in my life I have seen the lack of respect that Westminster shows to those that live north of the border, and yeah we do think of it as a border. The poll tax was one such instance as was the closing of Ravenscraig in the early nineties basically to save jobs south of the border. At least that is how it appeared at that time and I still believe that it was a vain attempt by the Iron Lady to save votes in England. Of course there are many other reason why I believe we as a nation would be better off freed from rule from London but I think that I've bored you enough. Sadly I don't know if we will achieve home rule as a free new nation. I only hope we do because I'm sure if we don't that London will find a way to punish us for trying to gain it. After all that is the lesson I have learn from seeing the history of the past thirty or more years unfold.

Just in from picking more blueberries this week. It has been a really bumper year for them. Magz is planning to make crumble with some of tem tomorrow, hope she has custard, while my daughter wants muffins. Luckily there are enough for both and still loads more to be pick provided the wildlife doesn't raid them. I also picked carrots and parsnips. The parsnips were a little disappointing but the carrots are another tale. I left some of the root veggies that weren't really worth picking. the extra room will hopefully give them a chance to grow more. I also saw a small developing pumpkin as I tended to the garden. I am hopeful that it should develop into something worthy of Halloween, lets hope.
We are now into the final week of campaigning on my nations future direction. Should we be an independent nation? As you know I'm all for freeing ourselves from the shackles of Westminster. Mine is only one voice but as this week has unfolded I have been surrounded with similar voices to mine. The only time I have heard the voice of the no camp has been on TV. The news from the all the news outlet, TV, newspaper and radio, has been very much behind the Camp Fear as the no voter have become known. Yeah you have it they have been running a very depressing campaign warning how if we vote for or freedom the world will come to an end. On currencies they have been trying to tell people that if we vote yes our money will disappear overnight and we will all be broke. It is almost embarrassing. If I were a no voter I would be ashamed of these tactics as it makes them look like children having a temper tantrum in them middle of a supermarket. Oh and no we will all have to pay more for the food we buy. The list of negativity grows by the day I hope my nation and its people can see through the rubbish. That they can see the better future that could be ours by breaking away from the old tired regime that has not served the best interest of the people of Scotland. Rather It has squandered our wealth to further the prosperity of the elite in London while leaving us poorer. this is our time to show our Bravehearts to the world and vote Yes on Thursday.
