Sometimes I go in the kitchen and open the fri…moreThis is a tough question, because I know you're expecting an enlightened answer, and I'm not there yet! Sometimes I go in the kitchen and open the fridge and stare into it (I do this a LOT!), or I give up entirely and go grocery shopping. What finally helped me get back to work was joining a critique group, where 5,000 polished words were expected every month and excuses were frowned upon. It's amazing how much having a deadline helps with focus.(less)
