When the concept of the story has begun, do you think of suggestions for a title or is this something done at the end of the manuscript?

Not only did the title fit in that regard, but it also speaks to the overall story as a single event "sparks" a chain reaction to propel the story forward.

Generally speaking I prefer to know the title as I am working on the story as it becomes a talking piece; it's easier to get people excited for the work in progress when they know what it is called. (less)

Update

Time for a little update. It is my plan to sit down and hammer out the last little bit of #TheSearing this month. There will be a contest announced Family Day (Ontario) for early access to the book!
