Alex Parker was born in Memphis, Tennessee in 1990. He completed school at a secondary school which focused on the arts. He joined the Air Force after graduating and was trained as a radar technician. He was sent to Aviano, Italy where he met his wife, Shizette. He draws on his experiences in Italy and travels to Switzerland, France and South Africa as material for his work, it also enables him to go more into detail about the local culture and mindset, giving more depth to the stories he writes. He and his wife have a son and a dog and currently live in South Africa.
