2021 Reading Roundup

I read and reviewed 32 YA books on the Taller Books blog last year!

My favourites? I loved the Shadow and Bone series by Leigh Bardugo, pirate adventures Seafire and Steel Tide by Natalie C Parker, dragons-in-America alternative history story Burn by Patrick Ness, and the friendship-based fantasy adventure Archivist Wasp by Nicole Kornher-Stace.

My favourite author discovery of the year was Geraldine McCaughrean, whose novels The White Darkness and The Supreme Lie deal with big issues through tightly focused and effortlessly quirky stories.

You'll find a complete list, with links to all the reviews, on the Taller Books blog today - blog.tallerbooks.com .

Comments are open - here and on the blog. If you read something fantastic last year, tell me about it. I'm always looking for YA recommendations - inspire my next reading choice!
