EP Roberts is a former US Intelligence Specialist/Officer, an advanced level Arabic and Spanish Linguist, and has served in various countries throughout the Middle East and North Africa.

He served in Mexico, and had several tours in both Central America and South America as well.

His many years of experience encompassed both strategic and tactical level intelligence gathering as well as tactical counter-insurgency operations in those countries.

Roberts served as a Special Intelligence Consultant to the national intelligence organizations of Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia.

He served as a Special Intelligence Liaison to the Procuraduría General de la República (the office of the Attorney General of Mexico).

I will start by stating, most emphatically, that I don't believe in the phenomenon commonly referred to as "writer's block"...

I believe that as a writer, I can at times become a bit lazy and look for virtually any reason not to sit at the keyboard and write...but this is not due to a "block" of any sorts in terms of knowing what it is that I want to write.

What I mean by this, is that we, as writers, must approach writing in much the same way that we approach any other type of work, whether at home or in the workplace; that is to say, our work won't get done on its own, we must "do" it.(less)
