I've been writing since the age of fourteen but never did anything with any of my work until last year when I decided that I wanted to seriously pursue a career in writing so after trying in vain to get an agent I decided to self publish and it's the best thing I have ever done. I love to write and it's a passion that I simply can't ignore anymore. The reviews I have got for both my books (on amazon) confirm for me that I made the right decision. At the moment I still work full time and write in my lunch hour and after work but I'm constantly thinking about my writing and where the next chapter is going. I wake up and go to bed thinking about the story I am working on and I love it. When I donated my kidney in 2013 I felt that the story needed to be told to highlight the need for living kidney donors and also to let people know what is involved in being a donor. It's an amazing experience and I really enjoyed writing the book so I hope everyone enjoys reading it. I am working on my next book which is dfferent from both my other books but it's a story I have inside me that I want to tell. I haven't really decided on a genre yet, I just write what is inside me. I find some of my ideas actually come to me when I am not even thinking about writing.(less)

I love reading myself and have always been an avid reader of lots of different genres. I love the freedom of being able to sit and write and get an immense amount of satisfaction when someone tells me that they enjoyed the book I've written because I loved writing it so to hear that it's touched someone else is a great feeling.(less)
