Beautiful People,
My morning started with a heartwarming human interest story about a son who is taking care of his aging mother. 56-year-old Chicago postal worker Marcus Waller’s commitment to his 83 years-old mom, Donna Wagner, is remarkable.
His dedication goes far beyond attending her physical needs. His mental support keeps her engaged and gives her a reason to live.
Many times, Marcus Waller needed take days off work to care for his mother, but he says he could never place his mom in an assisted-living facility.
We live life without knowing when or if we will need to give or receive care and support. Every day we should feel grateful for what we have and do at least one good thing for one person- a family member, a friend or a complete stranger. Even if that means just to listen,
XO,
Sharon
