I'm very curious now about this new book. The weight range I've been in most my life is much higher than yours. I don't care if people think I'm fat. I know I'm fat. I refuse to spend my life counting calories and working out every day just so people won't judge me. I don't love my body, but I haven't been on a scale in years and that's fine with me. Can your book teach a 200+ pound, aging woman to love her very flawed body? I doubt it, but I loved your first book, so I'll read it. When does it come out?

I'm not sure how to answer that because self-love and confidence comes from within. I can give you a thousand reasons to love your body, but you have to believe the things I tell you for it to sink in. Here's a few things I learned while writing this story.
1) Weight is irrelevant - health & fitness is based on what your body can do, not its actual size. Have you ever heard of skinny-fat? There are tiny women who can't lift ten pounds and 200+ pound women who can hold complex yoga poses for far longer than I. That's why the scale is unnecessary!
2) Beauty comes in ALL sizes - there was just a 200+ pound woman on the cover of Sports Illustrated and she looked smokin' hot!
3) ALL bodies are flawed - everyone ages, our skin sags and it becomes harder to maintain a toned physique. It's normal!
4) Perfection is unrealistic - pushing yourself to achieve the same body as what we see in magazines is pointless. Those images are retouched to look flawless and the models are paid to stay that size. It's not something the average person can maintain just by being healthy.
Confidence should be based on who we are and how we treat people, not how we look in a mirror. It sounds like you're already a confident person who knows her weight doesn't really matter. I hope my story helps you appreciate the beauty of your body as well. Cottage Cheese Thighs will be available mid-July, 2016. Please let me know what you think of it once you read it! I'm now curious about how my story will impact YOU!
I need to read this book! It's so cool you're willing to put your thighs on the cover. I'm sure it will look fierce. Can't wait!!
