The Magic Pouch

Watching two of my family members suffer and finally conquer cancer is a humbling experience. You learn to count your blessings every day. Each trip to the hospital you see others that have it worse than you and your family. Your battle is between hope and despair constantly badgering you to go one way or the other with one never really winning. I created this fantasy novel so that those who walk the same road as myself and my family lean and finally walk toward hope. Hope does indeed conquer fear. In the fantasy realm of central Pennsylvania the evil witch Cancer has cursed all the land with the disease of her name. Like cancer families the only real choice is to fight back. An unlikely crew of heroes not only find a cure but also a way to cure everyone within earshot. The evil witch has other plans. Time is running out, and in a mad dash during a brutal winter night they have 135 miles to cover in 24 hours on foot. Will they make it, or will Cancer's curse live on forever?
