Morning all.
So after a month away from it I began to work my way through the last quarter of Book 4 again yesterday.
In that months absence (my mother had an accident at home. Too much much gin - not enough tonic haha. If you knew my mum you'd appreciate how unlikely that statement was, as she doesn't drink) I did manage to create a 5,000 word #JakeBase western entitled 'Live By The Sword' for an anthology which should appear later in the year. (Thanks to Chris Davis for the heads-up on that one. Cheers mate).
Before we jet off in September I would really like to give Book 4 another 'cover to cover' read - that'll be its third.
I also need to go through and rework/remove all the over-used words which have a habit of mysteriously appearing. (I'm damn sure I don't put them there haha). That will take almost as long as the full edit - as it always throws up something else.
The plan then will be to pass the book over to my good friend Dave to read while we're away - assuming of course he's happy to work his way through the words once again.
So........I need to get working if I'm going to achieve my goals.
