Mind Purification
Ethics is the state of mind that has lack of deformities, therefore it tends to progress.
Process of living is the same as the process of studying, because these two activities could not be separated.
For one who is adapted with ethics, mental functions are weapons that are upgrading itself with every experience.
This is a comment that I have got from one of my Google+ friends when he read my book "Mind Purification"
Here is the feedback of your book:
My being has instinctively observed that you started out with a bang, especially when you made it very clear that most methods used to purify the-Mind should be based mostly upon the type of the personal individual: You made it clear that what's constructive to some may be destructive to others; and what is destructive to some may be constructive to others. You assure "The-Self" that not only is "mind purification" hard work, but it's a dirty job as well; and you also stated that not just any clean-up job is going to get the work successfully done, at least in a full sentient level: It's more than just cleaning; it's about reconstructing some non-applicable traditional ethics to suit the applicable individual, in which in turn allow the ethics, now known to be deformities to many, to progress at personal perceptual evolutionary status.
You are 100% accurate when you've mentioned that a man, at the "moment" of his birth, is truly an empty panel: in other words, if my being is not mistaking your writing, you mean to say that one is born with a blank "psychical" slate (Tabula-rasa), and not with mental preconditions as many "believe" that they are, or that others are. Also, it seems that the-World can misinform individuals about quasi-preconditioned outcomes of life and time that's in relation to each individual, or in a chain of collective individuals. Nonetheless, you've explained that the reconstruction of personal ethics can be as easy as processing non-biased information as practical wisdom.
You've pointed out the importance of acknowledging one-self to be trained on how to directly use his/her mental capacities instead of being passive, and allowing an automaton thought-processing engine do the work for you. Directly accessing mental capacities for reconstructing deformity ethics, allows one-self to achieve true wisdom on how to alter harmful mental functions, in which you call it, on how to rid of "mental waste," the kind of mental actuation that doesn't benefit the body, but can only wear out the energy from the body. This is of the utmost importance since after all, you made it clear that mental actuation are the base for biological behavioral reaction to specific or particular information: If the information of ethics is a deformity, it is mostly possible that the origin of the information is lost, or unknown, and therefore, harmful. Indeed, as you put it, every single mental actuation depends upon the type of origin(s) of thoughts. Without knowing the origins of our thought processing types, the mental functions of that type of thought remains shapeless and without meaningful construct, and therefore, having a great possibility for the function itself to disappear; leaving the individual with a harmful dirty mind.
You've provided a list of "figurative concepts" that one should work on balancing them to beneficiary statuses. And they are:
INTEMPERANCE: something that must be worked with if the individual even expects to at least talk and ponder about his/her treatment to cure mental thought deformities: If not, the lack of restraint will then allow the individual to be consumed of such deformity that will only drain his/her capacity from evolutionary mental development.
LUST: something that an individual should be concerned with since sexuality has an imperative aspect in every person's life. You've explained the necessity to balance sexuality so that it doesn't overwhelm the individual to a point that it may consume too much mental recourse, which in turn may allow lust and intemperance to exist side by side, initializing other factors of mental actuation that can also become a deformity.
JEALOUSY: is ultimately one of the most destructive deformity there is, simply because, as you stated, it stimulates hatred: this then gives a chain reaction of blocking normal functions of the-Mind and body, allowing destructive thoughts to automatically initiate that can beget malicious fatal deeds to the individual. This is a force that interferes and destroys constructive "righteous systems" of collective social coagulum. Hence, the importance that this is dealt with immediately.
HEDONISM: in this realm of self-indulgence, there are three aspects that should be considered, and they are laziness, negligence and the lack of happiness and joy. But of all three, the most imperative aspect is the ability, or capacity, to be happy, not in the sense that is should be a thing to pursue, but instead a condition of a "metaphorical path." Thus making it a "preconditioned" demeanor before any other pursuit is in "want," or in action.
All in all, you made it clear that a healthy bubble of intellect and sexuality is the mandatory standard pillar to a healthy psyche. You've also explained that the best way to fight against a collective dependency social complex, is to rise to self grounding assurance in order for an individual to build independent values instead of from others: this will reconstruct a full sentient thought process that allows one to do away with non-applicable deformity ethics, in which then develops an evolutionary capacity of great wisdom and superiority. You've also mentioned other factors of explanations concerning with "figurative criteria" of greed, rage and fear, and the "literal" actuation of workaholism: And the importance of acknowledging their dangers, quasi-similarities, and their involuntary dynamical pseudo manifestations, which are all simplistically written so that it can easily be understood by the language of "The-Self."
In conclusion to this solely "objective" review/feedback, you stress the importance of not avoiding only some simple elementary rules of life; suggesting that simplicity is usually the best way to go and handle imminent occasions, occurrences and challenges. One should not act and ambitiously achieve things, or persons, at the expensive of compromising just a few simple elementary life rules: in this way, complicated deformities, mental and socially, are prevented. The main other thing is to remain grounded, avoiding fantastical ideologies of preordained destinies and fates, for it is imperative that an individual realizes his/her own full capacity and potential of superiority; thus, finally purifying the "dirt(s)" in the-Mind.
With one final instinctual observation from mine end, you make it very clear that to everything that exists, there are two sides (aspects) to them all: one is the "literal," and the other is the "metaphorical" or the "figurative:" Therefore, when it comes to power, or strength, one must understand the two sides of strength if the individual expects to truly be strong: with this clear understanding, instead of possessing one or the other, the possibility of possessing both at once becomes a reality: in this way, an individual can have both "literal" biological physical strength, and simultaneously possess the "figurative" social power to rise transcendentally, and thus overcome the fear of the inevitable and imminent death that befalls us all, thus obtaining his/her own sense of conceptual justice that will eventually, and finally, provide an equilibrium capacity to fully purify the-Mind.
