Looking Towards Durango CO!

Here's hoping this post finds everyone well.
On looking at my last entry here I can see I mentioned the words 'cider' and 'garden' in the same sentence. Not a regular occurrence given the UK weather - & particularly not it seems this year!
I'm happy to report that the (sometimes only annual) milestone was reached on Wednesday evening of last week. Now I can rest happy for another year - even if I don't get to repeat it!

I'm still working my way, slowly, through Book 3.
I've long since thought that the reading/checking/editing process which occurs after the book's been 'completed' actually takes as long (if not longer) than its initial creation.

I must admit to being somewhat sidetracked yesterday afternoon from my endeavors.
We're planning to spend a few days in Durango CO on the 'Ridin' With The Sheriff' book tour later in the year. Twenty or so miles north of there we have the towns of Ouray & Ridgway, involved in many of the memorable scenes in the John Wayne 1969 movie 'True Grit'.
A very kind person has written an article (& made a YouTube film) on how to visit these places - a lot of which are outside of the towns themselves, up in the San Juan mountains.
So several hours yesterday were spent creating my own document with GPS co-ordinates etc to allow us to find these iconic movie locations.
Today it's back to Book 3 for me. The clock is ticking...........
Wishing everyone a good week.
Stay safe!
Cheers.................
