Like I said in ReejecttIIon - a number two, I'm actually a sixteen year old school girl called Susan.

That's O.K. Just tell everyone on Twitter to keep it quiet.

Hahaha!

Haha careful what you say cos Rebecca will tweet it :-)

Can we have an amnesty for handing in hashtags?

And a few ££££££££££££. won't be needing them anymore.

It was... Sorry to disappoint...
Now the secret's known by just a few more friends and nutters, but I'm sure they won't let the cat (er, or wolf) out of the bag either.

My MI6 buddy confirms that... and he did the intelligence report for Saddam's WMD, so it must be true.

Nah, he's too busy rehearsing his next bad acting speech where he pretends he cares and has remorse.

It was an astonishing thing to watch. I don't subscribe to the rampant demonisation of Blair but his attempt to make his case after the fact did not do him any favours. I've heard him described as a sociopath, and that speech is very interesting to watch with that in mind. All I'm certain of is that the arrogance he displayed demonstrates his lack of judgement when it comes to assessing his audience. He's so slick that even if he was haunted by his decision or felt any kind of guilt no one would believe him. Blew my mind. Politicians can be such strange creatures.

Well I DO subscribe to the Blair demonisation, but it was still very haunting to watch. I've seen better acting in the Big Brother house.
Love how after nine years of the inquiry they've ended up saying what half of us knew at the time of the invasion, only Chilcott, of course, wouldn't say Blair was a war criminal.

I completely agree with all that you say there - with the exception that: Blair could actually be a demon and not human at all, which then means I'm not necessarily unfairly demonising him. :)
Jokes aside (I mean, we've got to joke about this right?), yes, it is utterly incredible how those of us that were against going in could see through the bullshit and knew there was no case for the 45 minute claim and all the rest. Chilcott's told us nothing new at all. And, yeah, don't get me started on the 9/11 connection, which any fool could see at the time had nothing to do with Iraq.
(There should be further investigations into the blatant murder of weapons inspector David Kelly too...)
Blair said he was going in whatever. End of. He, Bush and members of intelligence should be held accountable and criminal prosecution should be brought.
No wonder our politicians go around doing anything they like when no one's ever held accountable and the worst they face is some kangaroo court.

The David Kelly incident was incredibly shady, both in what we know about what happened and how it was dealt with by the powers that be.
I guess there is something good to take away from the fact that Chilcott wasn't the whitewash that everyone expected. Truth can come out, like with Hillsborough, but the people seeking it have to wait so long and pay so heavily. You hit it exactly though - it's so tough to get those responsible into the dock.
I have had enough with referendums though :D

Good to hear your thoughts on all that Becs - we're on the same page. And I do fear the world really is experiencing some mass lunacy at the mo!
I'm sure things will get better just as soon as Theresa 'I covered up the paedophile M.Ps case' May is our new Prime Minister.
