Only Six Weeks To Go!
So.....here we are another Monday morning.
I know what you're thinking.....each week has one!
I guess that as the schools have finished for the summer many of you will be away on holiday currently.
God willing six weeks today we hope to be meeting up with my CA writing buddy Chris Davis and his lovely wife Maria in Tucson AZ at the beginning of the 'Ridin' With The Sheriff' book tour.
As is fitting for two author's of westerns a trip to Tombstone is currently number 1 on the 'To Do' list - with, no doubt, the consumption of alcohol as is only fitting to mark such an occasion.
To say I'm looking forward to the whole experience really doesn't even get close!
This going to be our 7th or 8th trip to the city of Tucson itself.
Driving in & seeing the Santa Catalina mountains standing proud on the north side of the city I really get the feeling I'm 'coming home'.
I've never experienced that emotion anywhere else before, only ever here. Very peculiar.
Somehow, for a city of around 1 million inhabitants, it still manages to retain very much a small town feel about itself - which is most definitely to its credit.
Here's wishing everyone a good and safe week - whether you're at work or on holiday.
Keep well!

The exciting journey of a new author.
Hi.
Thanks for stopping by & reading.
I'm not going to make any rash promises about updating this with daily posts, but I'll try to make it more frequent than once a week!

Within in these blogs enteries I'm going to post updates on my writing/editing process as it develops.
Hopefully it will of interest to someone. Especially a person who's considering making the transition themselves from reader to author.
Have a good day! ...more
