QUESTION TIME!
Who are your favorite authors?
Bruce Coville, and Scott Snyder.
What are your favorite genres to write?
Sci-fi
What are your favorite aspects of writing?
I like being able to make a point with the stories I tell, but dialogue is fun because you can say a lot about a character with subtle things.
What time do you do most of your writing?
It depends. I work nights, so whenever I’m not too exhausted.
Do you have any writing habits? If so, what are they?
I just try to write as much as I can. And if the ideas aren’t coming, I proofread what I have so far. That helps.
Do you usually type or write your first draft?
Type. Easier to make changes.
How long does it take to write your first draft?
Depends.
Are you a self-publisher? If yes, what made you decide to self-publish?If no, how was the process of finding a publisher?
I am self-published.. I like the creative freedom and lack of deadlines. As someone with Aspergers syndrome, the social aspects and deadlines authors usually have with a large publishing firms would be difficult for me.
What’s your most recent book?
Dookimon: The Inter-Terrestrial volume 2.
On your recent book, what inspired you to write it?
Well, I wanted to turn my book ‘The Inter-Terrestrial’ into a series. And I was inspired by the conflict between art and business to write a story that commented on that despite having mutated alien characters on a giant space cube.
