Chapter TenRobin quietly opened the front door and paused. Addar sat in his chair by the fire. He raised his head when she came in. They stared at each other, until Robin broke away long enough to close the door. Addar stood from the chair and started toward her.
She turned away to set the radio on the table by the door. When she turned back, Addar stood several feet from her. His expression was carefully blank.
“You did not see your parents,” he said.
Robin met his gaze. “No.”
