Back to Work

I was really blessed to get to go on vacation with my mom (she's here visiting!) so I took a week and a half off writing. But the last two days I've gotten back into Normandie, where lots of things are happening. The last few scenes were rough to write and I'm still praying about whether they are age appropriate.

We'll see what happens, but let me ask you, how you do feel about the mention of alcohol in a book you're reading? For context: two characters have decided to do a "dry" wedding and rehearsal (no alcohol), and one of their family members isn't very happy about it.

Eve Harrell Hi Kristin, it's real life. As a Christian, I cannot insulate myself from the world's choices; however, I can choose not to indulge in them. I believe if your character is making a decision regarding the "choice" they make, I think that it is appropriate.

Kristin Spencer Thanks Eve :) I was just praying this morning about what to do with these themes and I believe they are relevant to today's teenagers (though it is the adults making the choices, the discussion brings up questions for the main character). I appreciate your feedback.
