Nothing meant more to me growing up than my family, our farm and the community of Winters. I felt that again last Saturday when my cousin, Corinne Martinez and her business partner, Lynda Hinds, hosted my book signing at Rootstock in Winters, California. I am fortunate to have grown up with the values and traditions passed on to me by a large, loving family and a supportive, close-knit community.
