Back To Reality....

Wow - so that's it then.
All over with - once again.
The months of planning left us with a massive 10 week holiday/book tour - which ran throughout as smoothly as an expensive Swiss watch.
It just goes to show the benefit of keeping true to the principle of the 6 P's!
I guess we traveled somewhere in the region of 7,000 miles, possibly more, in the time were were away.
We met and conversed with dozens of really interesting, & friendly, people.
We were fortunate enough to spend time once again with friends from previous visits (Teresa, Sarah and Lonnie). Lonnie was good enough to cook us the best steak we had on the entire trip. Awesome!
New friendships were made (in particular Christopher, Maria, & in the last few days Elizabeth) which is wonderful. Long may they continue....... I believe with Christopher & Maria we've found genuine kindred spirits to accompany us on further road trips in the years to come. I can already see a trip to the unspoiled (& sparsely populated!) beauty of Wyoming and Montana looming ever closer......
Each of the forty books which were waiting for us in Phoenix were distributed - as well several thousand of the flyers - along the way.
The unpacking's all completed (I used to think it was easier than the packing to go - now I'm not so sure) so it's back to where I left off at the end of August with the editing of Book 4.
Dave has completed the proofreading while we were away & tells me he loved the story - which is great to hear.
Rather than rush the whole process to get this one 'out there' before Christmas 2016 I think I'll be more realistic and aim for January 2017.
Happy days.............
