This was such an honor to beta read . I've always found the D.B. Cooper heist extremely interesting . This story starts with a subtle nod towards a similar situation . It then touches on the "Coming of age" story but it just continues to grow and take on a mind of its own . Michelle takes you through several genres but she does it seemlessly . These characters are very visible in your mind as you read their adventure. This novel is one that stays with you for a time. There is such a realism throughout this story you could almost take a trip to True Alaska and track down Connor & Lilah just to see how they're doing ! Michelle continues to surprise with her story choices, refusing to stay in the confines of the expected genres . Even her first few "Romance novels" had more teeth and depth than your average "Notebook" . She proves that there is no limit to what can be accomplished . A true badass woman !!!
