Almost a Year Later
I published my book High Tides just about a year ago, in January 2016. During the course of the year I made various small changes, including putting a banner on the front cover saying all the proceeds of my book would go to St. Jude's and raising the price because of that. I have one more edit to do—changing a sentence and adding a paragraph in one chapter—and then I am finally going to let it go!
I am just about ready to publish a book of poetry; then I am going to get back to my young adult fantasy novel, which is about one-half finished. This year I have not done as much reading as I usually do, but do plan to get back to that in the new year!
Wishing all my friends and followers on Goodreads a wonderful Christmas and New Year! I plan to be more active on this site in 2017!

Hi Patrice—Merry Christmas to you too! I have been lagging on Goodreads and read your Meery Christmas post just now! I hope you and Joshua are doing well, and I would love to see you both again soon. San Andreas, where Alain and I have a mobile home, is just down the street, so to speak, from Lodi.
