Went to see Assassin's Creed, only to find that it was based on inherited memories, something I touch upon in Dark Horse, one of my short stories from Thing Bailiwick. I mean, it only makes sense. If the same nose can be passed down through generations, the same slanted eyes, the same cleft chin, then why not the same memories. We see it all the time, a child who can play like Beethoven without a single lesson, a woman suddenly speaking a foriegn language. Is it a miracle, or simply someone tapping into inherited memories? Hmmm.
