Tell us about your story in Claiming My Valentine
What is the story about?
Forever Cherished is about the first werewolf that was made, not bitten. Through out the story the man tries to learn how to control the beast within him. He falls for Chepi, the chief’s daughter of an opposing tribe. Their love, and Keme’s strength, unites the two tribes.Who is the main characters?

How did the story come to you?
I wanted to have true myth and legend added into my werewolf character. 
Did you have to research for this novel. If so, why and what did you learn?
Yes, I had to do extensive research because the Fox tribe (the tribe the original story came from of Keme and Matchitehew) had very little on record because the tribe pre-dates early English settlers. I had to piece together what their marriages traditions might be with later Indian tribes like the Hopi that, through my research, may have settled away from the original Fox tribe. 
Do you relate to your character? Is your protagonist anything like you personally?
Maybe a little like I was in my teens? I used to be very hell-bent on fighting for what is right to the point where I only saw black and white. Now? I believe in grey because usually both sides of the story are missing the real truths.
What made you write this character; what made them important to you or made you want to tell their story?
I’ve become very interested in wanting to separate fact from Hollywood fiction or superstitions that were brought on by people scared of things that were different. This character was part of an Indian tribe and for all I know, COULD have been a real person that was made out to be a beast because he was different from the early American settlers. I wanted to give this character a human side beyond the awful “monster” story. 
Is there anything specific you want readers to know about this piece of work?

This book is connected to a series called the Forever Series. Each paranormal character in the series is based from a myth or legend.

Tell us about your story:When and where is your story set?It is set in America a little before the first English settlers.
What is your personal goal?  I mean, what do you ultimately want?I want the Sauk and Fox tribe to get along and I want to be able to feed my people.
What conflict(s) do you face?The Sauk tribe believes that I am a man who has no control over the beast within me. They want me and my Matchitehew banished from the tribe.
Are there any secondary characters we should keep our eyes on?Who are they? Lilith, Queen of the Damned and Dracula
What is their connection to you?The beast within me, according to the god Wisakachek, the one that made me, is the only being strong enough to kill the vampires and protect the mortal tribes.
