Hello everyone!
As many of you know, I am a writer, editor and author. Today I can add entrepreneur to the list with the official opening of my new business, a full-service writing, editing and content strategy firm. Services include SEO-optimized blogs, Website copy, case studies, social media posts, marketing messaging, sales materials, content editing, content strategy, book editing and speaking engagements.
I have more than 20 years experience as a reporter, writer and editor for radio, television, newspapers and magazines and a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Georgia. My work has been published in both local and national publications including The Business Journals, Pro, Street & Smith’s Sports Business Journal, Winston Cup Scene and Winston Cup Illustrated. I helped launch three magazines in Charlotte, including My School Rocks! magazine, where I served as Editor-in-Chief. I was Editor/Media Director at the Scott Clark Group and Contributing Editor at Charlotte Parent magazine.
Most recently I worked for two marketing agencies writing blogs, Website copy, social media posts and case studies, as well as developing content strategies for marketing campaigns. I earned my Inbound Marketing Certification from HubSpot last year and am proficient in Microsoft Office, Hootsuite and Constant Contact.
These days my passion is capturing the client’s voice in every piece of content I craft. My promise is to utilize my experience, creativity and tenacity to organically increase website traffic and boost brand recognition.
