Resa has more than 20 years experience as a journalist for radio, television, newspapers and magazines and a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Georgia. She began her career as a business reporter and writer, interviewing entrepreneurs and executives from industries ranging from riverboat casinos to luxury bicycling vacations to big league booksellers. Along the way, she learned a lot about sports and the business of sports and has been fortunate to have interviewed dozens of professional athletes in baseball, football, NASCAR, hockey, basketball and much more.

She has covered the education and entertainment industries extensively and would feel at ease talking to anyone about most anything. She has helped launch three magazines in Charlotte, including My School Rocks! magazine, where she served as Editor-in-Chief. In July 2015, Moonshine Cove Publishers, LLC. published her first book, Love Me Madly: A Memoir. Currently she works as Content and Editorial Consultant at Laire Group Marketing.

She is an avid kayaker, hiker and gym rat. But she will also will throw in some rock climbing or ice skating or water skiing, depending on the season. She loves her Golden Retriever (Bo); cooking (strawberry-rhubarb crisp, fresh peach smoothies, matzoball soup, Mediterranean chicken and the most awesome gluten-free, turkey sausage pizza you’ve ever had!); alt rock (The Kooks, The Blakes, Sugarcult, Metric and The Struts) and writing or reading without interruption. She laughs at shows like Eastbound and Down, Curb Your Enthusiasm and most movies with Will Ferrell) and at herself and always looks for the humor. If she can make someone smile with her words, that’s the best compliment she can receive.
